Rose Madame Alfred Carriere is a climbing rose produces masses of double, pure white flowers from spring through autumn. The showy blooms are sweetly fragrant and complemented with lush and glossy, dark green leaves which affords a lovely contrast of colours. This deciduous shrub will grow to 4 m tall and the same wide but is often contained to much smaller sizes with heavy pruning in winter. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry.
