Rose Flower Carpet Sunset is a popular variety of ground cover rose that features masses of showy, orange flowers. Flowering begins in spring and will continue until the first frost in winter. The flowers are complemented with glossy, dark green leaves held on slender stems. This deciduous shrub typically grows to 60 cm tall and 1.2 m wide and is generally pruned each winter with about 50% of the stem removed. It grows best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, and is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and has good disease resistance.
