Rose Cecile Brunner is a climbing variety that produces masses of mid-sized, double, light pink flowers. The flowers are borne in large, loose clusters from spring through autumn. The foliage on this deciduous shrub is dark green and provides a lovely backdrop to the flowers. It will grow to about 4 m tall but can be trimmed as necessary and during winter up to 75% of the stem is generally removed. Best results with this plant are achieved when it is grown on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Rose Cecile Brunner is commonly trained onto a trellis in a courtyard or cottage garden, planted to lavish a fence, or included anywhere the beauty can be appreciated.
