Rosa banksiae Alba Plena, commonly known as the Miniature Banksia Rose, is a popular climbing rose that produces masses of showy, petite, white flowers. The double and fragrant blooms are borne in loose clusters from spring through autumn and literally transform the plant. The foliage on this deciduous plant is dark green and hosted on thornless branches. It will grow to 2 m tall and the same wide, and can be contained to smaller sizes with trimming. Best results with this variety are achieved when it is grown on a well-drained, semi-sheltered site in full sun or partial shade. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, and short periods of dry. Rosa banksiae Alba Plena is commonly grown on trellises or fences but also looks impressive when allowed to sprawl across the ground.
