It grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and is hardy to frosts, coastal environments, and short periods of dry. Rhubarb Victoria is commonly grown for culinary purposes, included in mixed plantings, or added to herb gardens. NB: the leaves are poisonous to humans and livestock.
