Rhubarb Victoria is a popular variety due to its large stems that are bright red and lack of stringiness. The flavour of the stems is tart with an apple-gooseberry flavour. This herbaceous perennial grows as a clump to about 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide bearing broad and large, green leaves, and regrows quickly after cutting. Rhubarb Victoria is commonly grown for culinary purposes, included in mixed plantings, or added to herb gardens.

Rhubarb Victoria is a popular variety due to its large stems that are bright red and lack of stringiness. The flavour of the stems is tart with an apple-gooseberry flavour. This herbaceous perennial grows as a clump to about 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide bearing broad and large, green leaves, and regrows quickly after cutting. It grows best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site, and is hardy to frosts, coastal environments, and short periods of dry. Rhubarb Victoria is commonly grown for culinary purposes, included in mixed plantings, or added to herb gardens. NB: the leaves are poisonous to humans and livestock.
