Veronica penduncularis Oxford Blue

Creeping Speedwell

“Oxford Blue” is a variety of Veronica which features delicate, blue flowers. The small flowers are produced from late winter through spring above the mid-green foliage. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 15 cm tall and 35 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost and cool climates and in these conditions may die back to regrow again when conditions warm. “Oxford Blue” is commonly included in borders, used in rock gardens, or mass planted. Allowing it to trail over the sides of a container or hanging basket provides for an impressive display.
