Water occasionally in dry periods but avoid waterlogging. Mulch lightly with gravel or stones to enhance drainage and reduce weeds. Divide clumps every few years in spring to rejuvenate growth.

Remove spent flower heads to maintain a tidy appearance. Protect from prolonged wet conditions in winter, which can cause root rot. This variety requires little to no fertiliser but can benefit from a light feed in spring. Keep an eye out for slugs or snails, especially on young growth.
