Salvia 'White' (White Texas Sage)

How to grow Salvia 'White' (White Texas Sage) in NZ

Salvia 'White' (White Texas Sage) performs best in a sunny location with well drained soil. Select a site that receives plenty of direct sunlight each day to encourage strong growth and abundant flowering. Improve the soil with compost or organic matter before planting if required. Water regularly during establishment, then reduce watering as the plant matures. Good drainage is important to prevent root issues and maintain healthy growth. This plant is well suited to many New Zealand garden styles and climates.

Salvia 'White' (White Texas Sage) care tips

Salvia 'White' (White Texas Sage) is easy to maintain and rewards gardeners with months of flowering. Remove spent blooms regularly to encourage further flowers and keep plants looking tidy. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to support vigorous growth and flowering. Light pruning during the growing season helps maintain a compact form, while a more substantial trim in late winter promotes fresh growth. Mulch around the base to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
