Salvia White Details

The Salvia White plant, commonly known as White Sage or White Texas Sage, is an herbaceous perennial grown for its rich display of flowers through summer and autumn. It produces long and slender flower spikes with small, white flowers. The flowers sit neatly above the mid-green foliage and are great for attracting butterflies and birds. All parts of the plant are aromatic and produce a lovely fragrance when crushed or brushed against. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide, performing best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It hardy to moderate frost once but does require good levels of moisture during dry periods. This White Sage is commonly included in an herb garden, added to a mixed planting or border, used in cottage or “white” gardens, or grown in a container.
