The flowers sit neatly above the lush, dark green foliage as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Salvia nemorosa, commonly known as the Nemorosa plant, is an herbaceous perennial grown for its rich display of flowers from summer through autumn. This salvia plant produces long and slender flower spikes with small, violet-purple flowers that are very striking. The flowers sit neatly above the lush, dark green foliage and are great for attracting butterflies and birds. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun.
