It produces long and slender, flower spikes that host masses of showy, dark blue flowers. The flowers on this Victoria Blue Salvia sit neatly above the mid-green foliage as it grows to 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide. Salvia farinacea Victoria is a variety of Mealy Cup Sage grown for its rich display of flowers from summer through autumn. It produces long and slender, flower spikes that host masses of showy, dark blue flowers. The flowers on this Victoria Blue Salvia sit neatly above the mid-green foliage and are great for attracting butterflies. All parts of the plant are aromatic and produce a lovely fragrance when crushed or brushed against. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide, performing best when grown on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. It is frost hardy once established and does require good levels of moisture during dry periods.
