Salvia 'Coral'

How to grow Salvia 'Coral' in NZ

Salvia 'Coral' thrives in full sun with fertile, well drained soil. Improve the planting area with compost before planting to encourage strong root development. Water regularly while the plant establishes, then only during prolonged dry periods. Apply mulch to retain soil moisture and feed each spring with a quality flowering plant fertiliser to promote vigorous growth and abundant blooms.

Salvia 'Coral' care tips

Remove spent flower spikes regularly to encourage repeat flowering throughout the season. Prune plants back in late winter or early spring before fresh growth begins to maintain a compact shape. Water during extended dry weather and feed annually to keep foliage healthy and flowering at its best. Good drainage is important for long term performance.
