Salvia Black and Blue, commonly known as Anise-Scented Sage, features a rich display of flowers through summer. It produces long spikes carrying blue flowers that emerge from a dark shell. The effect is a black and blue colouring on the flower spikes. The flowers sit neatly above the green-blue foliage and are great for attracting butterflies and birds. This perennial typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide, performing best on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun.
