Jacob's Ladder Plant

Jacob's Ladder Plant is the common name for Polemonium Snow and Sapphires, a clump forming, herbaceous perennial that produces lush, fern-like foliage that is variegated green and cream. During spring and summer, it produces masses of showy, fragrant, dark blue flowers in clusters atop 25 cm tall stems. It typically grows to 45 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It will tolerate frost and cool climates, and in these environments may die back to regrow again when conditions warm. The Jacob's Ladder Plant is commonly included in cottage gardens, borders, or mass planted.
