Pelargonium Splendide is a variety of Geranium grown for its interesting foliage and clusters of dual-coloured flowers. The showy flowers have bright pink, upper petals, and pure white, lower petals. These are borne en masse through summer and are simply stunning. The foliage on this evergreen shrub comprises dark green with crinkled edges which provide a pleasant backdrop to the flowers. It typically grows to 75 cm tall and 1.5 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best results with this plant are achieved when grown in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site for best results. It is tolerant of dry periods and light frost only. Pelargonium Splendide is ideal for mixed plantings, for use as a groundcover, for border planting, or growing in a container.
