Pelargonium crispum

Pelargonium crispum is a variety of Geranium grown for its interesting foliage and clusters of light pink flowers. The leaves on this evergreen shrub are bright green and have a crinkled edge. The stems are soft and coated in green, glandular hairs which release a lemon scent when brushed against. It typically grows to 75 cm tall and 1.5 m wide. Pelargonium crispum is ideal for adding to mixed and border plantings, growing as a groundcover, or planting around outdoor living areas. The leaves are often dried and used in potpourri.

Pelargonium crispum Details

Pelargonium crispum is a variety of Geranium grown for its interesting foliage and clusters of light pink flowers. The leaves on this evergreen shrub are bright green and have a crinkled edge. The stems are soft and coated in green, glandular hairs which release a lemon scent when brushed against. The flowers are produced on short stems through summer and autumn and blend nicely with the lush foliage. It typically grows to 75 cm tall and 1.5 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of light frost only.
