Osteospermum Ice White
“Ice White” is an herbaceous perennial grown for its pretty flowers. It produces masses of large and showy, white flowers with a dark centre through spring and summer. These are complemented with rich green foliage. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 50 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun. It is tolerant of short periods of dry and light frost only. “Ice White” is commonly included in a border planting, used in cottage or “white” gardens, grown in a container, or mass planted for a stunning display. It makes a dramatic statement when planted alongside a set of steps or above a small retaining wall.
