It grows as a clump to about 70 cm tall and 40 cm wide, and may die back after flowering to regrow again the following spring. This plant grows best in full sun or partial -shade on a well-drained site. The Blue Poppy is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, or added to a mixed or border planting. This is a beautiful and rewarding plant.
