Limonium perezii, commonly known as Sea Lavender or Statice Limonium, is a tough, yet attractive herbaceous perennial. It grows as a clump and produces broad, green leaves that are semi-succulent. In summer, stems rise above the foliage to bear clusters of purple-blue blossoms. The petals on the flowers are dry and papery and often used in everlasting flower arrangements. This Sea Lavender typically grows to 30 cm tall and 45 cm wide and may die off in winter to regrow again when conditions warm. The Perezii Statice is often added to mixed plantings, used in borders, or planted anywhere a hardy plant is required.
