Leucanthemum Aglaia is a variety of Shast Daisy grown for its impressive flowering. The daisy-like flowers are large, semi-double, and white with a yellow centre. These beautiful blooms are produced during summer and autumn, and are great for attracting butterflies. This herbaceous perennial grows as a tidy mound of dark green foliage to about 60 cm tall and 50 cm wide, and performs best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of coastal environments, cool climates, and frost once established. Leucanthemum superbum Aglaia is commonly included in mixed and border plantings, added to cottage and pool gardens, maintained in a container, or mass planted as a groundcover on a bank or the like.
