Iris Swans In Flight

“Swans In Flight” is a variety of Siberian Iris that features fantastic, white flowers. The large and showy blooms are borne on sturdy stems during summer above the lush foliage. This perennial typically grows to 40 cm tall and 30 cm wide with the flowers standing up to 65 cm tall. It performs best when positioned in full sun on a well-drained site and is tolerant of short periods of dry, frost, and cool climates. It will generally die back during these times to regrow when conditions start to warm. “Swans In Flight” is commonly included in cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas, used in border plantings, or planted around the base of deciduous trees and shrubs. A mass planting is a must with this variety to give impact and bulbs should be spaced 10 cm apart and planted 8-10 cm deep with the pointed end facing up.
