Plant Hosta ‘Lemon and Lime’ in partial to full shade in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Amend soil with organic matter to encourage healthy root development. Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells. This variety thrives in cool, sheltered areas and is ideal for shaded borders or containers.

Hosta ‘Lemon and Lime’ care tips

Mulch around the base to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds. Divide clumps every 3–4 years in spring or autumn to maintain vigour. Remove dead leaves to keep the plant tidy and reduce pest habitat. Watch for slugs and snails, which can damage the foliage, and treat if necessary.
