Hosta Hadspen Blue Details

Hosta Hadspen Blue features leaves that are broad, blue-grey, and have a powdered finish. In summer, bell shaped, lilac flowers are borne atop short stems and are followed by seed heads that are great for attracting birds. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to 50 cm tall and 80 cm wide and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cold climates but should not be allowed to dry out. Hosta Hadspen Blue is commonly used as a ground cover, added to borders, maintained in a container, included in tropical and cottage gardens, or mass planted on a bank or the like.
