Hosta Guacamole Details

Hosta Guacamole is grown for its lush foliage and pretty flowers. The foliage comprises avocado green coloured leaves with stripes of light and dark green. In summer, white, bell like, fragrant flowers are borne atop short stems which are followed by seed heads that attract birds. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 50 cm tall and the same wide and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cold climates but should not be allowed to dry out. Hosta Guacamole is commonly used as a ground cover, added to borders, maintained in a container, included in tropical and cottage gardens, or mass planted on a bank or the like.
