Hosta First Frost is a stunning variety with amazing, lush foliage. The foliage comprises blue-green leaves with a wide, yellow margin. White, bell-like flowers are borne atop tall stems during summer and are followed by seed heads that attract birds. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 50 cm tall and 80 cm wide. Hosta First Frost is commonly used as a ground cover, added to borders, maintained in a container, included in tropical and cottage gardens, or mass planted on a bank or the like.

Hosta First Frost is a stunning variety with amazing, lush foliage. The foliage comprises blue-green leaves with a wide, yellow margin. White, bell-like flowers are borne atop tall stems during summer and are followed by seed heads that attract birds. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 50 cm tall and 80 cm wide and in cold climates it may die off during winter to regrow again in spring. It grows best in a full sun or partial shade position on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is tolerant of frost and cold climates but should not be allowed to dry out. Hosta First Frost is commonly used as a ground cover, added to borders, maintained in a container, included in tropical and cottage gardens, or mass planted on a bank or the like.
