Hosta Colour Glory is grown for its golden leaves which have a thick blue-green edge. In summer, bell-shaped, near white flowers are borne and held neatly above the foliage. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 40 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. In cold climates it may die back during winter but will regrow again in spring. Hosta Colour Glory is commonly used as a ground cover, included in border plantings, grown in a container, planted around the pool or barbecue area, or added to tropical and cottage gardens. A mass planting will give an impressive display.
