Hosta Blue Angel Details

Hosta Blue Angel is grown for its lush foliage and lovely flowers. The foliage comprises large, textured, blue-grey leaves. In summer, white flowers are borne atop tall stems which are followed by seed heads that are great of attracting birds. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 50 cm tall and 80 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. In cold climates it may die back during winter but will regrow again in spring. Hosta Blue Angel is commonly used as a ground cover, included in border plantings, grown in a container, planted around the pool or barbecue area, or added to tropical and cottage gardens. A mass planting will give an impressive display.
