This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 50 cm tall and 80 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. In cold climates it may die back during winter but will regrow again in spring. Hosta Aphrodite is commonly used as a ground cover, included in border plantings, maintained in a container, planted around the pool or barbecue area, used in tropical or cottage gardens, or added to “white” gardens. A mass planting will give an impressive display.
