Hemerocallis Vintage Bordeaux is a variety of the commonly known, Day Lily, and features very showy flowers. The showy, wine-red flowers are only at peak condition for a day, but are continually produced through summer. They are held above the strap-like, green leaves as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide. Hemerocallis Vintage Bordeaux is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, planted around the base of larger trees, included in borders and cottage gardens, or added to a mixed planting.

Hemerocallis Vintage Bordeaux is a variety of the commonly known, Day Lily, and features very showy flowers. The showy, wine-red flowers are only at peak condition for a day, but are continually produced through summer. They are held above the strap-like, green leaves which serve as a lovely backdrop to the flowers. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of frost, cool climates, dry periods, and moderate wind, and may die back during winter but will regrow again in spring. Hemerocallis Vintage Bordeaux is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, planted around the base of larger trees, included in borders, or added to a mixed planting.
