This herbaceous perennial grows as a clump to about 50 cm tall and 60 cm wide, performing best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in full sun and protected from severe frosts. In cold climates it may die back during winter to regrow in spring, otherwise it will remain evergreen. "Honeyhill Joy" is an ideal plant for cottage or tropical gardens, for mixed and border plantings, or planting for fabulous spring colour. A mass planting provides a truly impressive display.
