Helleborus 'Conny'

How to grow Helleborus 'Conny' in NZ

Helleborus 'Conny' grows best in part shade with fertile, well drained soil rich in organic matter. Keep the soil evenly moist while plants establish and water during extended dry periods. Apply mulch annually and feed with a balanced fertiliser in early spring to encourage healthy growth and flowering.

Helleborus 'Conny' care tips

Remove old or damaged leaves before flowering to highlight the blooms and improve airflow. Deadhead spent flowers if desired and divide mature clumps every few years to maintain vigour. This hellebore is hardy, long lived, and requires very little maintenance once established.

Helleborus 'Conny' typically grows 40 to 50 centimetres tall and wide. Space plants about 45 centimetres apart to allow each clump to develop naturally. It has a moderate growth rate and becomes increasingly impressive with age.
