Geum Pink Petticoats is grown for its stunning flowers from late spring through summer. This variety produces masses of semi-double, orange flowers with yellow overtones on slender stems above the lush, green foliage. This herbaceous perennial grows as a dense clump to about 40 cm tall and the same wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site. It will tolerate moderate frost, cool climates, and periods of dry, but in cool climates it may die back during winter to regrow again when conditions warm. This Pink Petticoat Geum is commonly included in borders, used in cottage gardens, planted to attract butterflies, or mass planted on a bank or the like for an impressive display.
