Gaillardia gayla Blazing Sun
“Blazing Sun” is an herbaceous perennial and renowned for its large, red and yellow flowers. The bright yellow, daisy like flowers have a dark red centre and are borne through summer. It grows as a low mound with mid-green foliage and typically grows to 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide. Best performance is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. This popular plant is known for its heat-tolerance and is great for edging, borders, rock gardens, container planting, or planting anywhere “warmth” and vibrancy is needed. A mass planting will give the best displays with this plant.
