Eucomis Tugela Jewel is a stunning variety with its lush foliage and impressive flowers. It carries dark purple-green leaves which are broad and held upright. A flower stem rises above the foliage during summer to bear pink florets. This evergreen perennial typically grows to 1 m tall and 75 cm wide, performing best when planted in full sun or partial shade on a well-drained site. It is hardy to frosts and if it does die off it will regrow from its bulbs the following spring.
