“Lilac Joy” is an herbaceous perennial commonly known as Wallflower, and is grown for its prolific and beautiful flowers. During early spring it produces masses of fragrant, lilac and cream-coloured flowers above the lush, green foliage. The flowers attract birds and butterflies and it will generally continue flowering until temperatures cool. It typically grows to 80 cm tall and the same wide, and performs best when grown on a well-drained site in either full sun or partial shade. “Lilac Joy” is commonly used in border and mixed plantings, added to cottage gardens, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools, or planted anywhere a burst of colour is desired.
