Lord Howe Wedding Lily, Robinson’s Dietes, Giant Lord Howe Island Iris
Dietes robinsoniana, commonly known as Wedding Lily or Lord Howe Wedding Lily, is a striking, clump-forming perennial native to Lord Howe Island. It produces large, elegant white flowers with yellow centres on tall stems, typically blooming in late spring and summer. Growing up to 1.5 metres tall, it features broad, strap-like evergreen foliage. Ideal for feature planting or mass displays, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and tolerates coastal conditions and light frosts in New Zealand.
