Carnation Otaki Pink

“Otaki Pink” is a variety of Carnation grown for its lovely and scented flowers. It bears large and showy, double, pink blooms on slender stems through spring and summer. The grey-green foliage provides a lovely backdrop to the flowers. It typically grows to 50 cm tall and same wide, performing best when grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site. It is hardy to moderate frost and coastal conditions but should not be allowed to dry out. “Otaki Pink” is commonly included in cottage gardens, added to mixed plantings, grown in a container, or mass planted for an outstanding display.
