Canna Lemon Chiffon Details

Canna Lemon Chiffon is renowned for its beautiful flowers. It features flowers that are cream-lemon in colour but fade to almost white with age. The petals have an interesting, crinkled appearance, and the flowers are produced from spring through autumn. The large and upright green leaves complement the flowers beautifully. It grows as a large clump and will typically reach about 1.2 m tall and 1 m wide. In cold environments the plants may die back during winter to regrow again in spring. Canna Lilies grow best on a well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade though they are generally tolerant of cold environments and wet soils. Canna Lemon Chiffon is commonly used in tropical gardens, grown in a container, planted alongside water features, added to mixed plantings, or included in wetter areas. A mass planting is very rewarding.
