Canna Golden Bird Details

Canna Golden Bird is a variety that features beautiful flowers and foliage. It bears large and showy yellow flowers with brown flecks held on a solid stem above the foliage from spring through autumn. The large and upright green leaves complement the flowers nicely. It grows as a large clump and typically reaches 1.2 m tall and 1 m wide. In cold environments plants may die back during winter to regrow again in spring. Canna Lilies grow best on a well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade though they are generally tolerant of cold environments and wet soils. Canna Golden Bird is commonly used in tropical gardens, grown in a container, planted alongside water features, added to mixed plantings, or included in wetter areas. A mass planting is very rewarding.
