Campanula Bavarian Blue is a vigorous, evergreen perennial often used as a groundcover. It has purple-blue flowers which literally coat the plant during spring and summer. The plant has long, trailing stems which bear small and rounded leaves as it grows to 20 cm tall and 60 cm wide. Campanula Bavarian Blue is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, planted around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like, maintained in a container and allowed to trail over the sides, included in rock and cottage gardens, or planted between pavers.
