Brunnera Sea Heart Details

Brunnera Sea Heart is an herbaceous perennial that carries heart shaped, silver-green leaves. The leaves have narrow, green veins and are edged with a green border. The attractive foliage is complemented with small, forget-me-not-like flowers in summer which are light blue and held above the foliage. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide, growing best on a well-drained site in partial shade though it will tolerate a range of soil types. Brunnera Sea Heart is commonly included in mixed plantings, borders, or planted around larger trees and shrubs. Best displays with this perennial are achieved when it is mass planted.
