Heart Leaf Bergenia

Bergenia Pink Dragonfly is grown for its lush foliage and pretty flowers. The leaves are large, leathery, and glossy green but as temperatures cool, they turn develop red and bronze tones. Coral pink flowers are borne in spring on short stems which emerge from the centre of the plant. This herbaceous perennial typically grows to about 40 cm tall and the same wide. Bergenia Pink Dragonfly is a very fashionable and hardy plant which is ideal for border planting, use as a groundcover, or for lining a walkway. It is often added to mixed plantings with best displays achieved when it is mass planted.
