Begonia fuchsioides, commonly known as the Begonia shrub or Fuchsia Begonia, is a tender perennial is grown for its colourful flowers and attractive foliage. It grows as a bushy plant with small and glossy, dark green leaves held on drooping stems. The shrub becomes covered with small, soft pink flowers through summer.  It typically grows to 75 cm tall and the same wide, growing best in a partial shade position that does not dry out, has good drainage, and is free from frost. Begonia fuchsioides is commonly grown indoors in a container, planted outdoors in warmer environments, or added to subtropical gardens.
