Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink'

How to grow Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink' in NZ

Grow Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink' in full sun or partial shade, using fertile soil with good drainage. Prepare the soil before planting and set the crown at its original depth. Water thoroughly and maintain even moisture while roots establish. A container with drainage holes also works well when filled with quality potting mix. Give plants space for airflow and shelter young growth from harsh weather. Check moisture regularly as the new roots settle into their surroundings.

Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink' care tips

Care for Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink' by matching moisture and feeding to its growing season. Water when the soil begins to dry, especially during summer and when grown in pots. Feed during active growth with a suitable flowering plant fertiliser. Remove spent flowers and damaged foliage to keep the display tidy. Cut back tired growth when appropriate and monitor for aphids or other pests. Avoid leaving the roots in saturated soil.

Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink' size, spacing, and growth rate

Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink' typically reaches about 15 cm tall and 50 cm wide under suitable conditions. For individual plants, allow about 50 cm between centres to give the foliage space without excessive crowding. It has a moderate growth rate under suitable conditions. Final size varies with climate, soil, container size, and maintenance. Allow for the expected spread when positioning plants beside paths, walls, or neighbouring specimens. Check the developing plant regularly and adjust nearby planting as its natural form becomes clearer.

Landscaping uses for Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink'

Use Bacopa 'Gulliver Pink' for flower borders, mixed containers, and colourful patio displays. A mass planting gives an impressive display, and it is ideal for planting around outdoor living areas. Position it where its distinctive features can be appreciated and allow the natural habit to guide your design. Repeated planting creates rhythm, while a single specimen provides a clear focal point. Choose a location that balances visual impact with room for healthy growth.
