It produces masses of cream-coloured flowers on stems that rise above the foliage through spring and summer as it grows to 50 cm tall and the same width. Arthropodium Matapouri Bay is commonly mass planted as a groundcover, used in cottage or “white” gardens, included in borders, or planted around outdoor living areas.
