Growing Argyranthemum ‘Sugar and Ice’

Argyranthemum ‘Sugar and Ice’ thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for borders, containers, and cottage-style gardens. Plant in the spring after the risk of frost has passed, and water regularly while the plant is establishing. Once established, it is moderately drought-tolerant but will flower best with consistent moisture. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering, and trim lightly in late summer to maintain a tidy shape. Protect from heavy frost in cooler regions.

Size and Spacing

Argyranthemum ‘Sugar and Ice’ typically grows 40–60 cm tall and 40–50 cm wide. For best results, space plants about 40 cm apart when planting in garden beds or borders. This allows enough room for air circulation, healthy growth, and a full, rounded display of blooms throughout the flowering season. In containers, use one plant per 30–40 cm wide pot for a balanced and attractive look.
