Arctotis Red Magic is a variety of the commonly known, African Daisy, and is grown for its striking, daisy-like flowers. It carries large, dark red flowers with a dark centre from winter through summer. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 1 m wide with a spreading growth habit. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, frost, and cool climates. Arctotis Red Magic is commonly used as a groundcover, included in coastal gardens, planted to provide a colourful edge alongside paths, included in borders, or used for brightening up a dull corner of the garden.
