Arctotis Orange Flame is a variety of the commonly known, African Daisy, and is grown for its striking, daisy-like flowers. It carries hot orange-coloured petals surrounding a dark centre and will flower for most of the year. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 1 m wide with a spreading growth habit. Best performance with this plant is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, frost, and cool climates. Arctotis Orange Flame is commonly mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, included in coastal gardens, planted along the edge of a path or in borders, or used to brighten up a dull corner of the garden.
