Arctotis Bumblebee is a variety of the commonly known African Daisy and grown for its striking, daisy-like flowers. This variety features brick yellow flowers with a near black centre from late autumn until early spring. These are held above the grey-green foliage. The combination of flowers and foliage is very aesthetic. It typically grows to 30 cm tall and 70 cm wide with a spreading habit. Best performance with this variety is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, moderate frost, and cool climates. Arctotis Bumblebee is commonly used as a groundcover, included in coastal and cottage gardens, planted alongside paths, included in border plantings, or used to brightening up a dull corner of the garden.
