This variety features brick red flowers through most of the year which are held above the grey-green foliage. The combination of flowers and foliage is very aesthetic. It typically grows to 40 cm tall and 1 m wide with a spreading habit. Best performance with this variety is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of dry periods, coastal conditions, moderate frost, and cool climates.
